This heat tolerant green is great in salads, stir fries, and soups. If eaten raw in salads, its nice to mix it with other greens to balance out the mucilaginous texture of the mallow.
We plant ours indoors and then transplant ourdoors after danger of frost has passed. You can also direct sow when soils are warm. Be patient with these as they are slower to germinate than other greens.
