This variety is known for being disease resistant. We love it for its large, savoyed and buttery dark green leaves, which only get sweeter after every frost. The stems are wildly tasty in the winter months. 

Abundant Bloomsdale is a work-horse variety, especially in the shoulder seasons, as it is incredibly cold tolerant.  Sow in the early fall for winter and spring munching.

Spinach seed prefers cool weather for germination, so avoid planting in warmer months. For baby spinach sow up to 5 seeds per inch, and for bunching spinach direct sow up to 10 seeds per foot.
